Our Kingfisher, Oklahoma story began in the early 1900s when Eva and George Johnston established Johnston Floral. In 1951, Maxine Cleaver purchased the business, later renaming it Maxine's and continuing its legacy of quality and service. In 1981, Dennis Mueggenborg - who began as an employee at Maxine's - took ownership and built upon that foundation, eventually renaming the shop Designs by Dennis.


Nearly 45 years later, Dennis and Tammy Mueggenborg passed the torch to Jeremy and Shannon Staab, who are honored to continue this rich tradition as "The Flower Lounge".
Located in the heart of Kingfisher at 218 N. Main, The Flower Lounge blends decades of experience with a fresh, modern approach to floral design. From everyday arrangements to life's most meaningful moments, we are committed to providing beautiful, high-quality flowers and personalized service to our community.
